Lanzarote Autumn Sunshine Holidays

Beyond a shadow of a doubt the autumn season is an ideal time to visit Lanzarote as whilst in the rest of Europe people are starting to prepare for the winter season the sun continues to shine here right into December With yet another pretty grey summer behind us which pretty much seems the norm in the UK these days, it would not be surprising to see an increase in the number of tourists deciding to take an autumn break this year. And where better than the sunshine island of Lanzarote.

Lanzarote Flights

Getting to Lanzarote is quick and easy – especially from the UK. which makes this one of the easiest and quickest destinations to get to for sunseekers at that time of the year. And the cost of flights has tumbled considerably over the last year or so too. Thanks to the fact that all of the main budget airlines are now competing for custom on this route. Make The Most Of Lanzarote Villas

The autumn months are certainly a great time to be taking this particular trip. As the summer crowds have disappeared and as the children return to school in early September. Yet everything on the island remains open and vibrant – as this is a year round holiday destination. So there is none of that rather sad out of season feel that you can encounter elsewhere at that time of the year. Whilst both sea and air temperatures are still nice and warm too.

During September and October tourists will experience temperatures in the mid to high 20´s degrees Celsius. Rainfall is minimal at about 8mm a month. And all is still and calm as the Trade Winds have died away. Leaving bright clear blue skies – the ideal conditions for a day on the beach or by the pool.

Get Out And About

There’s plenty to enjoy too – as Lanzarote boasts an abundance of excellent golden beaches. As well as a wide range of natural wonders and unique visitor attractions. Such as the Valley of 1000 Palms, the green lagoon at El Golfo, the Timanfaya Volcano Park and the many creations of the famous local artist and architect Cesar Manrique.
