Named ‘Turning the Place Over’, Wilson has cut a giant circle out of a tower block and it now revolves at random times in the daytime : both fascinating and otherworldly to look at, and free of course. If however art is on your check-list, then a trip to the Tate Liverpool is an absolute must. Taking leading position in the Albert Dock district, the famous studio features a huge range of contemporary and classic modern art.
There are many more paths to fill your day on a trip to Liverpool too, from taking a ferry across the famous Mersey to visiting the youth homes of Lennon and McCartney. For a break out of the town centre though, try the relaxing Sefton Park, complete with its own Victorian Palm House, or head out to Aintree Racecourse to gamble on a winner.
